Hi ladies,
Has anyone on here been prescribed letrozole, for high grade serous ovarian cancer. I am brca negative and have had 3 different lines of chemo so far and a parp.
My CA125 is rising, although my scan shows little progression. Hence Letrozole.
Hello Georgette
I am sorry to see that you have been undergoing treatment for high grade serous ovarian cancer. I was diagnosed with high grade womb cancer and had treatment for it last year.
Although your CA125 is rising it is reassuring that there is little progression. I remember my consultant saying to me that CA125 is part of the story but not the whole story. But it is good that they are keeping an eye on it and offering the Letrozole.
Here is a link to some information that you may find helpful.

I hope this helps with the info that you wanted but please do give the Support Line a call and speak to one of the nurses if you feel you want any more info on the treatment.
