I am displaying all the classic symptoms of ovarian cancer. My MRI showed cysts on my ovaries. Doc now says both ovaries should be removed. (already had a hysterectomy). Does the scan show if these are cancerous? If not, when and how will it be confirmed or ruled out?
Hi Annie
I was also showing all symptoms of ovarian cancer in May, I had a tumour on my right ovary a big mass fluid in the abdomen and my C125 blood test was 239 , normal is usually 35.
I had a radical hysterectomy on the 20th August and still recovering, the histology report came back today and the tumour is benign so no cancer at all. I’m amazed absolutely but obviously very happy.
My surgeon must have thought I had cancer and I realise now why they are so non commits, I hope you also have good news, they could do a biopsy before surgery, this wasn’t done with me as if there is cancer there is a chance that it could spread,
Good luck to you hope all goes well x
