Hi, I am experiencing pulsatile tinnitus (hearing your heartbeat in your ear) during carboplatin chemo. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced this at all and if so how you coped and if it eventually went off? I had it for a few days after my previous cycle but it’s been pretty constant after my last cycle. Thanks
Hi Tracy49
I'm not a member of this group but spotted that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list.
I tried searching for previous posts which mention 'pulsatile tinnitus' or just 'tinnitus' but unfortunately drew a blank. Of course this doesn't mean that no one else has experienced this just that they haven't posted about it.
If you don't get any replies you could ask about it in the ask a nurse section of the online community and one of the specialist nurses will respond within 3 working days.
I hope the tinnitus stops soon as it must be very unpleasant.
x
