is anyone on the watch and wait approach ,and how long for thanks
Hi again glyndale..... it's an interesting question and let's see what some of the other folks with MF say.
As you know I have another type of incurable blood cancer and I was on Active Monitoring (Watch and Wait) for just over 14 years before I needed any full on treatment
A late response and yes I was on “watch and wait”, for almost three years, asymptomatic. But my spleen and liver is enlarging and doc prescribed Ruxolitinib. To date I have not began taking. Yesterday test results showed “blasts” of 4% and hgb 9 so it looks like my wait is over and the next stage will begin. I did not qualify for a SCT due to age. How are you doing today?.
best wishes.
