Hi peeps. I was diagnosed in March this year after an open biopsy on my neck. DRC treatment started 3 months later but I suffered with bad reactions so treatment stopped and changed to immune therapy rather than chemo and so far no sickness or any of reactions that I had.
Hi again Mistisla and good to see your first post. I do hope you will find the group a good place to get and give support.
Like your rare Lymphoplasmacytic Lymphoma (LPL) I have also lived with and been treated for my rare type of NHL fir over 24 years.
Good that your treatment is going well and you are not having the side effects that some folks can have…… let this continue.
My main chemo in late 2013 into early 2014 was done very slowly as there was high risk from reactions so this had me in hospital 6 days/5 nights on my 2 IV pumps going 24/7 for my 6 cycles.
As I highlighted in the other post the best place for up to date and accurate information and various support routes can be found on the Lymphoma Action website.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
