  • Hi again  I am so sorry to hear about the complications you are experiencing. Unfortunately the treatment rollercoaster can often have bumps in the journey, some rather challenging.

I had some issues but totally different ones from yours. It is hard being in hospital for periods of time, let’s look for you to get into a position for you to get home and fir your treatment plan to get back on track.

You may find having a chat with someone can help you unpack all these emotions. Lymphoma Action have helpline on 0808 808 5555 where you can talk with someone who totally understands and you can get some support - open every week day from 10 till 3.

  • So sorry to hear this. Do you have tumours in your small intestine? Such cases are sometimes dealt with via surgery or localized radiation to shrink the tumours and allow healing to take place so that treatment may commence once again. What does your medical team have to say?

One cancer (PTCL-NOS) 3 times. Two other cancers: Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma 2 times, and 20q deletion MyeloDysplastic Syndrome) were chemo refractory. All three cancers simultaneously in 2015. Stage IV twice + MDS @ 23% of marrow. 12/22 diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Thus far, 14+ years, 20 drugs, 4 clinical trials, Total Body Irradiation, 1,000+ years of background radiation from scans. 7th remission so far. Haploidentical stem cell transplant, acute > chronic Graft-versus-Host-disease. Currently receiving my 7th GvHD regimen.

  • No tumours in them but small bowel now has narrowing unsure why.  They would rather no operate until chemo has blasted these goblins lol.  Plus their hoping it will rectify itsflf

  • I am a prayerful type and so I will offer prayer that you will receive your personal miracle.

To help provide hope, I have had nearly 100 tumors throughout my body, as well as bone marrow involvement with two of the cancers. Stage IV twice. A true horror story that has turned out far better than anyone expected.
