The wait for biopsy results

For me it was about ten days I think. It was quite quick then to be seen by the haematologist. She was great and explained everything so clearly, i felt better after seeing her. Then I had to have more scans to check the rest of my body. It is very difficult waiting for results, I managed by just carrying on with my usual routine and by confiding in my close friends about how I was feeling. Talking really does help so much. Good morning Chrissybear over my many years and many biopsies the wait, which is never great has been anything from 10 days to 6 weeks. In the early days my samples had to be sent to different labs as the initial findings were inconclusive so some more in depth specialist testing had to be done.

My biopsies took a whole 7wks to come back which seemed like forever, it's awful it takes so long.
