Hello!
I'm Jayne and was diagnosed March 1st after being referred to hospital for something completely unconnected to lymphoma!
I'm 61 and live in a village just outside Bradford, with my youngest daughter who is 34 and my full-time carer (I have autoimmune problems too), and two cats Arthur and Aslan who think they're dogs... we had two dogs when they came home as kittens and picked up their habits LOL They're almost 7 now and both our dogs are no longer here.
I don't feel any different to "normal" and it's hard to get my head around the fact that I have cancer. The specialist put me on active monitoring, so it's a waiting game now, I'm constantly on the look-out for new lumps and symptoms one minute and the next forgetting that I have anything wrong. I've also been diagnosed with a kidney problem, which I'm having a CT scan for on Monday and may need a stent inserting.
Isn't life fun?
