Hi, I’m new here, I have just been for a biopsy on Friday on my right lung, which I’m waiting on the results. I have another carcinoid on my left lung, which has started growing since my last pet scan. The surgeon did mention that he would take away half of both lungs to get rid of the tumours.
i feel like a fish out of water, and very overwhelmed by it all.
i had cancer on my thyroid last year, and they took half of my thyroid away, now it seems I have nodules on the other side as well, they never took a biopsy on this, but I have another carcinoid appointment with ENT in June.
i don’t know if I’m typing makes any sense, I just feel so scared and alone, and just want to talk to other people that are going through the same thing x
Hi sorry, you're going through this. I dont really have any advice for you, just wanted to let you know, I have had 2x lung resections, it probably knocks you for a couple of weeks, but it doesn't take long to be back on your feet....I totally get how you're feeling. You're definitely not alone in that, Michelle xxx
