Thank you, I’m really worried about the future and once all the tests are complete and the results clearer still then how to break the news to 2 children over 10years old. We want to protect them but how ? 

Absolutely, they need to be protected as they are growing and it can affect them emotionally and mentally.Get some help from their school.They can contact some agencies to support you and your children.

Hi, I too have been recently diagnosed with a NET attached to my bowel blood vessels and nerve endings. I feel like I've had every scan/blood test/urine samples available. Awaiting surgery now, I too have a young family. I'm hoping everything will come good for both of us. Take care. X

Hi! Latest with me is had my PET I get the result following MDT on thurs, honestly feel I’ve waited weeks to get to this point, every niggle I’m like oh god it’s spreading please hurry with this treatment.  I’m apparently going on a combo of chemotherapy no mention of surgery atm unless that is discussed this week? I’m having thyroid checked also. I know what you mean I’ve had endless tests and was given false hope that things were ok.. the biopsy on my liver was the giveaway .. this type seems so slippery to diagnose.
