Melanoma on my lung

I don't have the experience you're looking for but I noticed that you'd post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will bump it back to the top of the discussion list again.

i had a similar experience. After my second round of Immunotherapy on the same drugs as you I developed a sore red eye thought to be conjunctivitis. After seeing a consultant in our local eye hospital it was diagnosed as Uveitis and my treatment was stopped. I was treated with steroids and after 6 months got the all clear. Although the eye consultant thought it save to resume treatment my oncologist deemed it not save to put me at further risk of more damage to my eye or in fact the other eye with serious consequences.

Although worried and feeling very much at risk of my melanoma returning which was removed from my calf and lymph nodes in my groin I had no more treatment and am still here after 9 years !!. I have regular skin checks and scans every 6 months. Hope this helps give you some reassurance.

Im glad you are still fit and well. 

My first melanoma was on my right calf 11 yrs ago and that was removed and no further treatment .

This Melanoma is in my left  lung and I dont know until 2 weeks  time when I get my scan results whether the 7 rounds of drugs have had any effect on the current Melanoma. 

I guess Ill just have to wait and see what my oncologist says when I see him .
