I have had a mole suddenly appear, started dark and smooth, then felt crusty and has now suddenly changed colour/disappeared. Does this need checking out? Has anyone else had similar

It's always best to see your GP if you're at all worried about a change to your skin. If they feel the mole needs looking at more closely, they'll make an appointment for you to see a dermatologist.
