Hello All,

I'm a sometime poster on the Prostate Cancer board.

My husband was diagnosed with terminal, but treatable Prostate Cancer last December, and has had chemotherapy and is currently having hormone therapy.

It's all going well, he is fit and active at 64, in full-time work, regular at the gym and walking our dogs.

However, he's found a mole on his collar bone.

It's about 7mm at the longest point.

He went to the GP 2 weeks ago, and they took pictures, sent them to the dermatology department at our local hospital, and told him expect a wait of around 6 weeks. Of course, anything could happen in that time.

  • Hi Jess/ and a very warm welcome to our corner of the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I was diagnosed with melanoma 9 years ago and have since had breast cancer so know how hard it can be dealing with two cancer diagnoses.

Please feel free to ask any questions you like here. There will almost always be someone who has relevant experience to help you.
