After finishing immunotherapy two years ago after surgery to remove melanoma I’m still tired and have aching wrists, ankles and knees. Would just like to know if anyone else has had these symptoms after treatment. Pots

  • Hi,

I finished my immunotherapy treatment about a year ago, and certainly have painful feet and ankles, however I suspect this is as much due to being 66 as it is to the immunotherapy!

I had a hip replacement a few years ago, so have a history of joint issues.

My bloods haven't shown up anything untowards, so I fear this is age-related in my case.

    All the best.

  • Thank you for your reply. I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems as well. I’m slightly older than you but feel I was quite active until I discovered the melanoma.  I hope you get something to help with the pain. Pots

  • Hi,

    I'm still active - it's just a little uncomfortable now & then.

It hasn't stopped my cycling, walking or volunteering works at the NT and Canal & River Trust!

    Good luck.
