Hi everyone, Just coming with an update. Biopsy 5 weeks ago showed melanoma in situ. I am going for excision surgery on Monday so very quick. My lession is facial so I'm obviously nervous and I've opted for purse string sutures rather than a skin graft. Sleepless nights ATM and I will have some healing to do both physical and emotional but so thankful to have it caught early. Take care

That's great news that it was caught so early.
I can understand your anxiety around having an operation on your face but these surgeons are so skilful. Do you have a date for the op yet?
