I was diagnosed with a recurrence of a melanoma I had removed back in 2008 a few months back. I'm starting the vaccine trial on Monday.
Correction: I was diagnosed in 2006
Good luck , Insist on a CT scan to check other areas. Even if you have to pay. My daughter’s melanoma travelled around her body undetected until it was too late.
Thanks, Kegs, There's no shortage of scans when you are on a clinical trial! I've had a full body CT and head MRI twice already. All clear so far.
More than two years post recurrence, still NED on recent scans.
