I was diagnosed yesterday with stage 3 melanoma on my right forearm. I feel incredibly overwhelmed. Got to have WLE and SLNB soon, not sure of timescales etc. I have had this on my arm for 3 years and have tried so many times to seek treatment and now it almost feels too late. I am 53 year old female with a real zest for life. This has stopped me in my tracks.
Hi. I had a mole on my back that I fought to get seen,over a year being told it was nothing to worry about. Diagnosed stage 3 melanoma after surgery. It's a shock for sure.
It's not too late and can be treated.
Keep living life with all the zest you have.We are the same age.
My diagnosis has since changed as spread to internal organs. On combined targeted therapy and find out Thursday how the treatment is working.
