Hi,
I've recently been diagnosed with a subungual malignant melanoma in my big toe and have had two biopsies and now started treatment,
Has anyone else had something similar as I have never met anyone else who has had 'toe cancer'!!
Thanks
Hi Sukiharma and I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis which brings you on here but welcome. I've not personally had melanoma on any toe but after being on here for about a year and a half I have read others posts where they've had melanoma on their toes. I think there is a way to find out mentions of it by searching using the search button but I'm hoping our lovely Latchbrook (Community Champion) will pop up and give you better search directions. Wishing you good luck with your treatment x
Hi
Im sorry for your news.
what would you like to know?
Im ok now. I got offered amputation of the top of my finger. But I opted for them taking just the top piece off instead. Its 12 months ago now . Finger feels a bit odd, and its not as strong as my other fingers, but appart from that its fine. I go for 3 monthly check ups.
sending you lots of love.
