Hi. I had a melanoma in situ excision in November 2022 after noting a small mole on my left ankle had changed. Am currently waiting for wider excision and plastic surgery. Originally told to chase after 3-4 weeks, currently heading towards 6, but can see from other conversations this isn't unusual. I need to plan travel for work so it's frustrating, but fully appreciate the NHS is under huge stress right now.
Looking like I need to allow a few weeks post op before things settle down.
