Hello, I’m new to the forum and hope it’s ok to post this as I’m still waiting for a diagnosis. I was referred urgently 5 weeks ago with a suspected nodular melanoma, the dermatologist said it was a seborrhoeic keratosis and removed it to be sure, it came back as pigmented basal cell cancer. I went to the doctor to discuss my results and asked her to check some moles on my back. She found another suspicious one that she thinks is melanoma and I am back on the urgent referral route again, I see the dermatologist on Monday. I am so stressed, and constantly on the edge of panic, after the initial 5 weeks of stress I am going through it all again and have lost so much weight, I’m struggling to cope. I also have other moles which look suspicious to me and will ask for those to be checked as well on Monday. So sorry for the long post, just wondered whether anyone has had a similar experience or any coping mechanisms you can suggest xx
