T1a melanoma and 2 years later I  now have metastatic melanoma in my axillary nodes and awaiting a full removal. Has anyone had this with a very early melanoma?

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sure there will be others in the group who have metastatic melanoma, even though their melanoma was found at a very early stage. Unfortunately, melanoma is very sneaky and I don't think you can ever be entirely sure that it won't come back, no matter what stage you're diagnosed at.

I can see from your profile that you're having your pre-op on Saturday so that'll give you the chance to ask any questions you might have.

Wishing you all the best and do come back and let us know how it goes on Saturday.

    ((hugs))
