SLNB and WLE results ALL CLEAR

 the whole scan system has changed since last autumn so scans are six monthly for stage 2 and 3 I believe. I'm 3c and thought I was getting 3 monthly scans but no only 6 monthly. See NICE guidelines on the government website.

Anyway I'm so pleased for you, the results we all want to hear xxx

That’s fantastic news Midnight22 ! As already mentioned, the follow up guidelines changed last year. I had my first follow up 3 months after my WLEs and SNLB last March then have moved to appointments every 4 months (I had a 1b and an in situ melanoma removed plus a history of BCCs and atypical mole syndrome). At each appointment I’ve had a full skin check and lymph node check. I also had mole mapping medical photos taken and was able to get copies which is helpful for my own checks.  A BCC was identified at my last skin check which was excised a few weeks later.
