Good morning all,

Yesterday, I attended my Breast Surgery appointment. On arrival I was welcome with beautiful smiles and calmness from all the staff in the department. It was such a relief to my husband to be able to attend with me and he was also made to feel very welcome.

After my initial meeting with the consultant, I was thoroughly examined, sent for a mammogram, scan and had a biopsy. Thankfully after a very long morning I was told that my melanoma hadn’t spread to my breast. What I have is a small cyst.

Throughout this most dreadful experience of the last eight weeks I can’t thank the NHS staff that have looked after me with pure tender care.

I can know go ahead with WLE & SNLB but I’m aware that I have a couple of swellings in my groin and in the top of my leg. I have had a call this morning from CN who has told me this should happen in the next week. Fingers crossed that it does Fingers crossed

Hope everyone is well today Kissing heart
