Good morning
just thought I would post an update. I had my wle (on the ankle) on 7th December with a skin graft taken from the abdomen. The graft has healed really well and I was allowed to start running again from 11th January and so far so good. I had the results from the wle and the melanoma is all clear in that area now so I just have to go for check ups every 3-4 months to make sure I don’t get any more.
I had the original biopsy in October and got the results early November so feel they have done a great job fitting everything in so quickly.
Thank you for all the advice that everyone gave when I asked questions.
That great news Kels13!
I hope you've had a celebration
I went for a run to celebrate
thank you for all the advice you gave, it really made a difference, hopefully I will be able to help others too with any questions about the waiting.
Thank you! It was, it rained the whole way but I was so happy to be allowed to run again.
