Hello all.
I had my WLE and SLNB three weeks ago. The wounds are healing well but I still have plenty of aches, pains and electric shocks.
My WLE crosses my elbow and as yet I can’t straighten my arm, it’s just too tight and my ‘running stitch’ stitches are still there.
Anyone else had this and will I ever be able to straighten it again?
Hi Spanielmumma,
I remember at week 3, tried to straighten and bend my knee where I had my WLE (was trying to hang few decorations for a surprise) and I couldn't do either. I am now week 5 and it's amazing how close I am to feel "normal". Still some tightness in the area but almost there. So fingers crossed for you will be the same.
Hi,
thanks for your reply.
I’m back to the wound clinic tomorrow to get my stitches checked as I was told the ones on my arm are dissolving ones but they don’t look like it. They may be some of the issue.
