Have noticed that I have streaks in my thumb nail one that looks like a splinter about 5mm long and a discoloration band across the full length of nail bed.

Anyway, I haven't had a streak in my thumb nail but looking through the previous posts and have both had this. I'm not sure if they still use this group but, if they do, they will get a notification about this post.
