Hi, hope you’re all well today. I’ve recently returned from the hospital where I’ve had the imaging ahead of my WLE and SLNB tomorrow. The scan highlighted 2 nodes and not the expected 1. Has anybody else had this? Does this mean they’ll remove both tomorrow?

Thank you. X

  • Hi

As far as I know I only had 1 SLN highlighted but I would think that if you have 2 they'll remove both of them although I'd ask the surgeon when he comes to speak to you before your op.

Wishing you all the best for tomorrow and do pop back and let us know how you get on.

PS. Don't forget to ask how long it'll take to get your results back.

Thank you for your good wishes yesterday. All went ok and I got home about 6pm. Feel a bit sore but pain is manageable. Results in 4 weeks time. The waiting is the worst part but I will keep busy.

    Hope everyone is ok today.

    Xx

  • Hi

How are you? I hope the wounds from your WLE and SLNB have healed nicely. Have you had the results back yet?
