I hope all of you who went this year enjoyed being together with others in person and enjoyed the talks. I couldn’t go this year, I had my Pembro treatment and couldn’t or rather didn’t want to alter the timing due to the knock on effect it would have on other dates when my daughter is over from Japan. I couldn’t help thinking of it today and how in past years it has just made sense to be there, and has given a sense of being valued and united as often there can be a tendency to feel down because you have melanoma.

I’m looking forward to seeing the videos of the talks, and hearing from any of you who went.

Yes I I did attend the conference, and very good it was too. Thanks for your reccomendation!

There were talks and discussions on so many different melanoma topics, some great myth busting - eg avoiding the sun vs Vit D deficiency - from some really quality speakers. Its a lot to take in...

Imogen did a fantastic job of both organiser & compère for the entire event - what an amazing woman. I would suggest everyone who has melanoma should attend this, as the benifits are huge. Just being is a room talking to people who are all knowlegable as specialists, patients or carers touched and involved in the melanoma world is an eye opening experience.

Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out and find it!

Hi J glad you got to go and enjoyed the experience. It really brings home the thought you’re not alone, I found. So fingers crossed for next year.
