Hi all, been fighting melanoma since 2017. Had targeted therapy for 1 year it didn’t work(can’t remember the drugs) I’ve just done 17 month's of immunotherapy and was told the other day it’s stopped working also. Was told now going on targeted therapy with diffrent drugs from the first time I had it. The drugs I’m getting this time are Encorafenib and binimetib. Was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these drugs. Thanks
Hi I am new to doing forums so please bear with me. I hade a singe infusion of Immunotherapy but then a tumour was found in my heart so had to change the plan. I went Encorafenib and Binimetib in mid June it appears to be reducing the size of tumours. From a side effect it’s hard to say as on 20 tablets a day. Constipation so I take laxative regularly. Very dry mouth for a couple hours after taking pills.Numbness and Tiredness. Hope this helps and hope I have not broken any forum rules.
