Just been diagnosed going to have my lymph nodes checked and where the mole was re-opened again. So scary, I had double mastectomy in 2018/19 due to breast cancer.
Hi Shearer09 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read that you have been diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma after you have dealt with breast cancer in the past. I'm the opposite way to you in that I was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma 6 years ago but now going through chemotherapy for breast cancer.
Do you have a date yet for your wide local excision (WLE) and sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB)? I've had both of those procedures so I'm happy to share my experiences with you if there's anything that you want to know.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
