Waiting between diagnosis call and any follow up?

Called the nurse this morning, still no appointment on the system. I decided to try with my medical insurance I have through work. The earliest appointment to meet a plastic surgeon at my local BMI hospital is 12th October. They have suggested The Nuffield in Oxford... anyone been there?

Quick update:

I had a call this afternoon and asked if I can make an appointment with the plastic surgeon tomorrow! I sure can. So relieved it’s tomorrow, four weeks has been a long wait.

I was really surprised she said tomorrow - really pleased there’s no more waiting too. I know there will be more waiting over the next few months than I can imagine but this is great and I’m seeing the positive!

Is this appointment with the NHS or private Spanielmumma?

Hi, it’s NHS.... which I’m really pleased about. The earliest private could offer me was middle of October.
