It's been a while. Last couple of months my neutrophils were low. So, Filgrastim injections which seems to help! Also my immunoglobulin is very low so, tomorrow starts my first IVIG. Hopefully this will help my chronic sinusitis which is extremely annoying...
Hi again Bullit and good to hear from you.
I do hope that your body agrees with the IVIG…… after repeated hospital stays with various infections including Pneumonia and Sepsis my team agreed that I should try IVIG but my body had a different view and reacted badly to them so we had to give up on them.
So my 2 sets of on the shelf antibiotics that I get on repeat prescription are my first line of defence and in the whole, 8 years on from the IVIG episode I have been able to catch infections before they develop.
Hi Highlander! Just had my first IVIG and it went well. I(t was only 30mg/300ml so, it only took 3.5 hours to get it in. What are medications?
Han
Great to hear….. I am guessing you were asking what medications I am on?….. I have been off all Lymphoma and post treatment meds since the end of 2017 and was discharged in June 2018.
