I have recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer with secondary lung.
a truly devastating experience. I was hoping to take part in chemo drug trial, but told today that I am not well enough as the trial is quite aggressive and I have gone down since diagnosis unable to eat and suffering substantial weight loss.
I will instead be starting Gemcitabine next week followed by the introduction capecitabine afterwards.
To say how worried I am for my wife and family is an understatement.
so to begin a new and terrifying journey.
best wishes
Tony
