What clothes to wear after surgery

I know that it sounds silly, but I was wondering whether it's comfortable to wear clothes with waistbands after lung surgery.

I may need a quick trip to the shops if not!

There are no silly questions. I took pyjamas to Guy's for my little stay with them. I went out and bought six new pairs for the occasion, and glad I did because I was in for 9 days! It feels so nice to have a wash and put on clean jammies every day.... Best wishes for your surgery, they will really look after you!

They usually give you a gown to wear in the hospital

Don't forget your slippers and they don't like slip-ons or flip flops, too risky

I found my dressing gown very helpful. I had my P J's with me but used the hospital open back one, let them change it
