New to the group diagnosed with lung cancer just finished 20 sessions of radical radiotherapy
Hi Susiebo welcome to the club that no one wants to be a member of, but here we are. You'll find friends on here with much the same problem that you have. We comfort each other and support each other.
I'm out of surgery last November for one in my right lung. Previous to that I had 80mm taken out of my bowel in 23. Fortunately I'm feeling fine now.
You aren't on your own here.
Good morning susiebro

Hi Susiebo
Welcome to the group, I’m sorry to hear of your diagnoses and hoping you’re feeling as ok as you can be after your radiotherapy.
I’m a young 63 and I’ve recently (on 9th January) been diagnosed with lung cancer too, it’s in both of my lungs with spread to my spine and I also have lymphangitis where the cancer is in my lymph vessels. I’m guessing I’m a stage 4 as I’ve been told incurable and inoperable. I’m hoping treatments will shrink/slow down my cancer and give me time at least. I’ve had all the tests I need for now and am awaiting an oncologist appointment. I feel absolutely fine, apart from being a bit wheezy at night and a little back and shoulder pain it’s as if there’s nothing wrong with me. I have rheumatoid arthritis too which is in a good remission and the thoracic consultant thinks I’m as healthy as I can be so I’m hoping I’m strong enough to cope with whatever they throw at me.
I just wanted to say Hi and offer my support on this scary, uncertain journey we’ve started on.
take care,
Jools
