Hi I started my journey in 2014 nodules found on right lower lung, had lobotomy and told they were all benign. Was have scans every year 2017 found nodules on left lung very small watch and wait.  Last year two had started to grow. Went to MDT  at Papworth they sent over to Addenbrooks, they said have another scan this year and they have grown. The one at the bottom is 27mm and right next to the Aorta. The top one is 15mm. My case has been to 3 MDT one being Addenbrooks again. At 1st I was told would probably have radiotherapy but now am being told chemo. Have now got appointment at Addenbrooks on Wednesday to see Oncologist. Really scared but trying to put a brave face on it.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

It's natural to be scared about the prospect of treatment but you've come to the right place for support.

I'm not a member of this forum but noticed that your post hadn't had any replies. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

While you're waiting for replies, it would be great if you could put something about your diagnosis and treatment to date into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

    Wishing you all the best
