Hello I’m a bit nervous just joined , iv seen forums on Tv n social media but never been brave enough to , hope everyone is doing ok xx
Hi Ellasmum welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. Treatment can be hard going at times, but it is good to try and keep as active as possible. Some days you might not feel like doing much, but just going for a little walk will help. Also just getting up and having a shower you will feel better, but I know how hard it is to do this some days.
Try and set yourself a small goal, even if it means a ten minute walk around the block.
, , Welcome Ellasmum to the forums. The chemo and the immunotherapy has not been too bad for me and not had many. Side effects but it’s can be so different for different people. The extreme tiredness can be so hard and just getting up can seem like a major task. And can seem so easy just to stop in bed. I think you need to go with how you’re feeling and what your body is telling you. I wish you all the best x

Hi ellasmum
its so easy to get stuck in a rut & somedays it’s ok to just stay in your pjs & do nothing but I always feel to just get up & shower & dress makes me feel human even if I don’t go anywhere!
I would recommend reflexology it’s the one thing I have found that’s helps me on this shit cancer journey It’s just so relaxing & makes feeler calmer & able to cope with life.
i wish you all the best just take 1 day at a time it’s a hard fight but you’ve made it this far so just keep putting 1 foot in front of the other & you’ll get there
Ali xx
Many thanks for your kind words Ali, I will try anything at the moment to be positive as at present I cannot seem to function at all
