Hi Herra welcome to the group, but so sorry to hear your news, and that you are in pain. The early days of being diagnosed do take time unfortunately, and until all of the tests are back they will not be able to tell you which treatment you will be having. The good news is there is so much treatment available for lung cancer, and people are living with the disease for far longer than ever before.
There are so many factors that are taken into account to determine which treatment is best for you. They will need to determine which type of lung cancer you have, as each lung cancer is treated differently. The best way to do this is by having a biopsy. This does take time unfortunately, and the waiting for results is agonising, but it is important to get the best treatment plan in place.
Do tell your gp that you are still in pain. I am not sure if there is anything else he can prescribe, but it is worth telling him.
