Hi I'm new to this my partner was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2022 he has T3 N2 M0 adenocarcinoma of the right upper lobe sailed through intense chemo and radiotherapy for 6 weeks and was doing ok until January 2023 started being unwell had ct scan and found enlarged lymph nodes in right lung after biopsies and tests we were told it's no longer curable, he now having chemo immunotherapy every 3 weeks had to stop his treatment just before Christmas and was in hospital 3 days with grade ll lO mediated pneumonitis was given steroids which helped greatly, now his steroids has finished his cough has started to come back it really worries me.
Hi Suzy Q welcome to the group but sorry to hear about your partner. I’m not surprised you are worried, I think with any new symptom, cough, ache or pain, we worry and think the worst. It may just be because the steroids have finished that the cough has come back, but I think it is worth mentioning to his GP or oncology team to see what they think. Please let us know how you get on.
