Squamous lung cancer 3b

I do not know anything about the symptoms your dad is experiencing.   Only how upsetting this must be. Everything had happened so fast for your Dad.

I have lung cancer, diagnosed in late summer, metastasis to brain.

My daughter is my No 1 support, so I appreciate how very tough this must be for you. 

Is your Dad's Oncology team aware of the sleep deprivation and spasms?  If not phone them now, there may be something they can do to try to alleviate his symptoms today?

Aww thankyou so much yes he has been to the Oncologist on wed and had the sad news that he has 6 months left  i have been in touch with macmillan just waiting on them to get back to me and then we can get him home with palliative care he just needs to hve a really good sleep its torcher watching him, the nurses have given him diazapan but dont inow if the side eefects are worse be ause he has been having these spasms for a while now

I think there's a carer forum here too. Been encouraging my 42 year old daughter to jump on and communicate with those whose loved ones are in similar situations to your your Dad. myself and so many others.
