Breathing diffficulties after top and middle lobe resection.

Hi Kel , I had my op last April started chemo in july. I was like you stopped after 3 , bad side effects , I can't stop feeling tired and a cough that never goes , and pains in my head.

Oh no sorry to hear that I took have been getting pains in my head but out it down to being pushed into the menopause. Can I ask what type of cancer did you have ?

Oh no Iim so sorry. Did they remove any of your lobes ? Are you going to have immunotherapy?. Is it small cell cancer that you have ? Sorry for all the questions. 

It's non small cell. Right lung upper lobe removed and took 2 lymph nodes and both came back cancerous and then it became behind the airway and the pleura. The bone was my last CT 3 weeks ago. I came off the Immunotherapy same time as Chemotherapy. 

I have had no issues with my breathing , I make funny noises at times , if I feel my breathing a bit strange when walking I just slow down.

Bless you I don't know what to say. The only thing that kept me going was my positivity.i lost my mum to this awful disease she too had lung cancer which was small cell. Unfortunately they didn't catch it in time. I take ginger shots and turmeric every day and I really feel this helps . Good luck with everything  God bless you xxx

Hi Kel , what operation did you have and what cancer did you have ?

What have your doctors said about your breathing at your follow up appointment?

Has a lung function test been done since your surgery or has anyone recommended pulmonary rehabilitation?
