Hello I hope it’s okay for me to be in this group. I have just been diagnosed with a secondary spread from the bile duct. I’ve had two spreads to the liver already. The oncology doctor has suggested chemo alongside immunotherapy. I’ve got a few days to decide. Do any of you have any experience of gemcitabine, sisplatin chemo, with durvalumab? I had bowel cancer in 2019. If I don’t have treatment they’ve given me roughly 6 months, but could double that if I accept treatment. Thanks for any thoughts, or experiences you may share.
Hi Jools63 a very warm welcome to the group. I know we have spoken in the secondary lung cancer group already. Hopefully someone will be along soon who has had experience with the treatment you have mentioned.
Thank you for the welcome, and for advising me to join this group.
