I'm due my op next Friday, admitted on Thursday.
Will they carry on with the op? My 13 year old son came down with a vital hacking cough, temp, headache etc last Sunday and his symptoms are ragging still. I had symptoms since yesterday which wen from 0-100 within a couple of hours. I'm worried they will cancel the op, it's clearly contagious.
I've checked and we are covid negative
Hi Sam 230585 welcome to the forum. I think the best thing any of us could advise here is to see how the weekend goes and whatever the outcome, call the team on Monday and ask their advice . It is really down to them whether they go ahead or not having spoken with you and determined any symptoms that you may be experiencing. Im sure you will not want to have surgery if you are not fit to have this and that may hinder any recovery for you.
