Morning all!
my mum was diagnosed with lung cancer back in February, after numerous complications and general hiccups, she's also been diagnosed with Glioblastoma brain tumour.
Last week she was supposed to start her Chemo Tablets, but due to generally feeling unwell she decided to put a stop to all treatment.
She's told the nurse this evening, she wants to try again with the chemo tablets.
My life has turned upside and I'm so confused!!
Is this possible???
Hi LozMa
Not sure why you are so confused:: isn't it a positive move that your Mum now wants to continue with the treatment?
I hope the Chemo helps your Mum.

I stopped my treatment and was told there was only a short window that I could go back on it. I knew I would not go back to it.
Hi Diana,
Mum stopped hers a week ago on Friday. Is that too long ? X
Hi , I was not told how short that window was , as I knew I wasn't going back on it.
Hi LozMa
Yes it is highly likely that it will be possible to continue the treatment after a pause. During my chemo, two of my cycles were delayed by a week each due to my very low red blood counts. Pausing chemo is a routine occurrence.
