  • Hello and sorry to hear about your diagnosis and the recent loss of your son. What a lot to bear for you but I want to reassure you regarding the radiotherapy. I was given the option of surgery or radiotherapy for lung cancer and I opted for radiotherapy. Let me reassure you that it’s completely painless and it worked really well for me. Try not to be daunted or frightened by the treatment and all being well when you have your CT scan at the end of the radiotherapy you’ll find like me it has shrunk the lung nodule and you can get on with your life. We are all here for you whenever you need advice or to vent your fears. Best of luck x
