Lung cancer

Hi there. I’m sorry you find yourself here. My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer in June. I’m guessing like my mum your mum will have to undergo further tests like a PET scan to determine if the cancer has spread. If she hasn’t already she’ll need a biopsy. Results to both took about a week for my mum. 
Once all the tests are done they’ll be able to grade the cancer and give her a treatment plan. The waiting is hard and feels like forever. I hope this helps. x
