Hi I'm new here, my mum has just been diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer and is being assessed for different treatments. Here treatment will be at Blackpool Victoria hospital. Just wanted to say hi and I can pick up some tips to help her journey
Hi Legless,
My mum was diagnosed with the same a few weeks ago. Hers is advanced and has spread to other areas. She has been told it is uncurable but treatable and is starting chemo/immunotherapy within the fortnight.
Its all been very hard to take, but the care she has been receiving so far has been great.
Hopefully your Mum will find out soon what treatment they think is best and be abke to put a plan in place. The waiting and wondering has been one of the hardest parts for us so far.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
