I've just been discharged by my hospital and put back to my local GP .have had 5 chemotherapy treatments that have not worked and five radiotherapy treatments ,stage 4 lung cancer has now double in size where do I go from here as I feel like i have been sent home to die..
Hi I’m sorry to hear about this awful and concerning situation. Do you have a phone number for your specialist lung cancer nurse? Could you ask your nurse to speak with your oncologist about any upcoming drug trials that might be suitable for you? Also the Roy Castle Lung Cancer helpline is staffed by wonderful and knowledgeable people who are only too happy to help. Also the wonderful Macmillan staff too. All at the end of a phone line. Do please call someone for help and advice.
Hugs
