  • Hello Barbarella

    Welcome to the Online Community.

I am sorry to see that you have just been given a diagnosis of adenocarcinoma in your right lung. It is understandable to feel anxious especially as you have been waiting so long. It must have felt very frustrating to feel that your GP was dismissing your symptoms.

I see that you are seeing your surgeon in two weeks time and will then be having your operation. Waiting around is always hard and I personally found that once I had seen my surgeon and I knew exactly what was going to happen, I felt a little more in control.

I will pop some information here that may be of interest.

I hope this may help a bit.
