Hi I had a 2cm tumour removed back in 2017 it was a wedge resection and they got it all out and that was the end of treatment just follow ups every 6 months today was my last six monthly check up before going to yearly and they have found something in near enough the same spot the nurse have said that it has been there consistently since I had my surgery and that they don’t think it’s cause for concern and that they would get my consultant to look at it later on today and they would ring me to let me know what the consultant says but I now can’t help but think it’s back I have had a few niggles of pain in the area and in my back but nothing to bad that would make me think it’s something serious so just a waiting game now which I always find hard
Hi nat88c welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. It is always a worry when you are told they think they have found something, and then you have to wait. But it is always best to be cautious, and I hope you get a positive phone call from your consultant soon.
